79TH FIG CONGRES 2012

79th General Assembly of International Gymnastics Federation was held in Cancun, Mexico on 26 October 2012. Cihat Levent represented Turkish Gymnastics Federation as a delegate.

2012 GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MEDITERRANEAN GYMNASTICS CONFEDERATION

General Assembly meeting of Mediterranean Gymnastics Confederation was held in Maribor, Slovenia on October 6, 2012. Cihat Levent participated in the meeting as the General Coordinator of Confederation. Prof. Dr. Bruno Grandi - President of International Gymnastic Federation, Nicola Buompane - Deputy General Secretary of International Gymnastic Federation and Mohamed Yamani - President of African Gymnastics Union were the VIP guests of the confederation.

2012 LONDON OLYMPIC GAMES

It was a unique experience watching the Olympic Games in its home town, being part of such organization and feeling the spirit of it. The Games turning into a visual feast were perfectly-organized. I hope the same will be experienced in Rio in 2016 and in Istanbul in 2020 as well.

2012 LONDON OLYMPIC GAMES BASKETBALL FINALS

US and Spanish National Teams, playing for the final during the 2012 London Olympic Games, gave the spectators an opportunity to enjoy the game of basketball. Navaro and Gasol brothers have set the best examples in the courts for European Baskeball barely reaching NBA level. It is not easy to beat a group of stars like Bryant, James, Anthony, Durant, Howard and Odom.

FIG COUNCIL MEETING WAS HELD IN RUSSIA

International Gymnastics Federation council meeting was held in St. Petersburg, Russia. The President of Gymnastics Federation Atilla Örsel and General Coordinator Cihat Levent attended the meeting as the representatives of Turkey.

2011 GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MEDITERRANEAN GYMNASTICS CONFEDERATION

The Mediterranean Gymnastics Confederation, having 23 national federations as members, held its General Assembly Meeting in Istanbul on December 16, 2011. Besides the members, Prof. Dr. Bruno Grandi - President of International Gymnastic Federation, Nicola Buompane - Deputy General Secretary of International Gymnastic Federation and Mohamed Yamani - President of African Gymnastics Union also attended.

Cihat Levent, the General Coordinator of Turkish Gymnastics Federation, was appointed as the General Coordinator of Mediterranean Gymnastics Confederation at the General Assembly.

Istanbul Chamber of Commerce hosting the General Assembly Meeting of Mediterranean Gymnastics Confederation. The President of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry Dr. Murat Yalçıntaş hosted the Confederation President Dr. Michel Léglise and General Coordinator Cihat Levent. He was informed about the events presented by the Confederation.

EYOF 2011

EYOF 2011 Trabzon was completed successfully. Cihat Levent worked as the general coordinator of artistic gymnastics branch. İbrahim Çolak threw a historical success by bringing bronze medal to Turkey in the field of rings.
